A Sweet Memory from Thimphu
Last year, I was in Thimphu for my school teaching practice. My days were always incredibly busy with lesson planning, teaching students, and getting used to a lot of new experiences. It was a very exciting but tiring time. One ordinary afternoon, I met this cute little kitten completely by surprise, and it instantly made my whole day better.
The tiny kitten was sitting so peacefully on a dark, cozy blanket. What caught my attention right away were its big, round, innocent eyes. It just sat there looking up at me with a very calm and gentle nature. It didn't run away or act scared at all. The moment felt so sweet and peaceful that I knew I had to take a picture before it walked away. I quickly grabbed my Samsung Galaxy M14 and captured this beautiful memory.
Later on, I decided to use a TikTok filter on the photo to give it a soft, warm, and dreamy look. The filter perfectly matches how cozy and happy that moment felt. Even though it was just a simple, unplanned picture taken on a regular day, it has become one of my absolute favorite memories from my entire teaching practice.
Looking at this photo now always brings a smile to my face. It reminds me that true happiness can often be found in the smallest, most unexpected moments of life. This little kitten will always hold a very special place in my heart, reminding me of my wonderful time in Thimphu, the great lessons I learned, the kind people I met, and all the beautiful memories I made along the way. 🐱❤️📸
