This photograph was captured while hiking to Dungtsho, Thimphu, in December 2025. The image beautifully showcases the colorful prayer flags standing proudly on the hilltop, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Resolution and Editing

I took this photograph in December 2025 while hiking to Dungtsho, Thimphu using a Samsung Galaxy M14 smartphone. The image has a resolution of 1079 × 1439 pixels with an approximate 3:4 aspect ratio, making it suitable for portrait photography and social media sharing. The camera captured the details of the colorful prayer flags, mountain landscape, and evening sky clearly.

To enhance the image, I used a TikTok effect that added warm tones and improved the overall mood of the photograph. The effect enriched the sunset colors, making the sky appear more vibrant and the landscape more dramatic. It also increased the contrast slightly, helping the prayer flags stand out against the background. The final result creates a cinematic and visually appealing look while preserving the natural beauty of the scene.

Editing Process

I focused on highlighting the warm atmosphere of the hike by using a TikTok filter that enhanced the orange and blue color tones. The prayer flags became more colorful and eye-catching, while the mountains and sky gained greater depth. The effect helped create a balanced composition that reflects the peaceful and memorable experience of hiking to Dungtsho during the winter season.
